I think I have a pretty good excuse though, I've been crazy busy!! As you all know since my last post Mike and I drove home to Chicago and got married on November 18th. Here is a link to the pictures if you haven't gotten it yet:

Mike and I were married at Assumption Catholic Church. Following the ceremony we took pictures at a few different locations downtown, and let me tell you, it was COLD and kind of windy! But, at least it wasn't raining!
I loved our photographer, Cristina G. She was so creative with pictures but worked really quickly too! Here is a link to her website if anyone is interested in a photographer. She does baby pictures and things like that too!

The wedding went off without a hitch, aside from my MOH Margaret needing to be sewn into her dress after the zipper broke about 15 minutes before we left for the church!! The only time I was extremely nervous is when I was waiting on the bus with my bridesmaids before the start of the ceremony. My stomach was in knots, can you tell?
I think I pulled off the "calm and collected" vibe. Anyways, as soon as I started my walk down the aisle I was fine. After all, I was marrying my best friend!
The reception also went perfectly. Mike and I danced like crazy with everyone. Of course, you always wish you had more time to talk to everyone at weddings. After the reception ended I somehow got roped into go out to some bars with Mike and some of his friends/family. I think I wanted an excuse to wear my dress a little bit longer. Of course at the VERY end of the night somehow we ended up in Mr. Gyros where an Indian gentleman approached me and Mike to ask if we were royalty!! I think it was combination of Mike's uniform and my "fur" wrap that made him think we were important people. It was funny.
Mike and I didn't get to bed until after 4am the night of the wedding, so needless to say we were tired the next day. After our free room service breakfast we headed to Mike's parents and relaxed for a few hours before going to dinner at Chicago Cut with the family. Thank goodness we weren't leaving for Jamaica until Sunday morning!
A post about the honeymoon to come! (I promise it won't take a month!)
Love,
Christine
