Mike's 26th Birthday

Poor Mike has ascended into his late-twenties! This will never happen to me, I will be staying 25. 

Since Mike's birthday was on a boring old Wednesday we didn't do anything exciting. The Sunday before his birthday I did make him french toast for breakfast, though.  And tonight we are going up to Atlanta to spend the night and have some fun!

 Mike's request for food on his birthday was deep dish pizza (any surprise there?). We were (I was) going to attempt to make it with our new deep dish pizza pan, but then my parents had Lou Malnati's deep dish delivered to Mike for the big day! YUM!  I love getting these pizzas because you keep them in the freezer and you can bake them right from frozen...no need to thaw! So, if anyone would like to send us some.... ;o)

By the way, his birthday gift from me was a new pair of Sperry's which he was in desperate need of since he is not a sandal-wearer and his old Sperry's were pretty disgusting.

I sang an excellent solo rendition of "Happy Birthday" if I do say so myself.
